Agriculture is the main source of income to support each family of the village. Raising of domestic animals (chicken, pigs and cattle) is the next important family activity to generate the family income. Traditionally, the Karen women involve tie-dye and designed weaving of their traditional clothing and bags on back-strapped loom for family members. But nowadays they weave and embroider for earning supplementary income.
